Calvary Baptist Youth Ministries
CBC Youth Ministries consists of two groups, Senior High School (9th-12th grade students) and Jammin’ Junior High (5th-8th grade students).
Junior Highers…Jump into “Jammin’ Junior High”…a place where you and your friends can come together, be yourselves, have fun, and get to know God. We meet twice a month on Wednesday nights (September - June) from 6:30-8:30 P.M. (at the church) for games, fellowship, snack and a group Bible study. You'll have the chance to get to know one another better, make connections with other kids just like you, learn from Godly role models, and discuss real issues that you deal with daily. Junior High also gets together once a month for a variety of events such as mini-golf, sledding, service projects and winter retreats. Senior High…is more than just a place, an event or program, it is a group of students learning about life, growing a relationship with God, and building community with others. We work hard to provide an environment where the youth can be accepted for who they are, while being challenged in their faith journey with adult leaders who care for them. Our Bible Studies are based on real life topics that most 9-12 graders deal with daily in various forms, whether they may admit it or not! We meet weekly on Wednesday nights 6:30-8:30 P.M. (Sept- June, at the church) for games, discussion/ bible study and of course…for the favorite thing of many teenagers, FOOD! There will also be an event every month, involving activities such as Whirlyball, Six Flags, Music Concerts, Hiking, Service Opportunities and Winter Retreats. The Senior Highers also usually take a summer trip, ranging from missions to serve others and conferences to feed their own soul!
